Read more »From the Tappan Zee Bridge to the Rip Van Winkle Bridge the Hudson River Valley is simply gorgeous. The Hudson River flows under these bridges, actually in both directions (at different times!) since the river is an estuary with tidal influence all the way up to Albany. We live in Red Hook, which is close to the Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge so we drive across it on numerous occasions, and the others quite often.
